We call this the Catalyst as it kicks off the whole process and gets the cogs turning. We meet at our studio and have a good chinwag over a cup of tea. We ask you lots of questions, some more typical than others and get you to fill out one of our fun little questionnaires to break the ice and give us a starting point.
We look at any existing Pinterest boards/scrapbooks you have to enable us dive into your minds and personalities as quickly as possible. We talk about your vision of the day as well as discuss any suppliers you have already booked and decided upon. Although we are there to give and inspire new ideas while elaborating on the old, we make sure that YOUR ideas are what are heard and help you to realise them.
We ask you to sit down and create a wedding moodboard. This is an old-school exercise but it is surprising how it frees the mind to step away from online inspiration resources and do some good old cut and paste. From your moodboard we can start to get a good idea of where you are coming from and what things make you tick.
Most often, you will already know your venue but if you don’t then we can help you with that too!
After this meeting we use our notes to create a 4-6 page Catalyst Report. This is a document containing a breakdown of all of the elements that we discussed at our meeting. This helps us both to see where we are and where we could go from here.
If you would like to continue on with our service then this organically becomes The Sparks stage.
There is absolutely no commitment required at this point and you can continue on alone after this point if you wish.
